Friends

Mummy said we are very lucky to have lots of friends already so this post is a thank you for friends as Mummy says she is also lucky to have such wonderful friends!

Every Friday we go to Bounce and Rhyme at Hayes library with our cousin Robert, we have such fun as we love to see him and we get to see lots of other babies including our friend Ciaran from Mummies post-natal group.

This past week we have also seen friends Barney who came to visit us, and Neve who we went to visit at her new house.

SCBU Raffle

We are selling raffle tickets for Queen Mary's Hospital Neonatal Ward for their Christmas raffle. This was the ward where Liberty and Isabella were for nearly 3 weeks when they were first born.

The staff on the ward are fantastic, not only do they look after many premature and sick babies they also do a wonderful job of looking after parents of these babies. They are always in need of funding for new equipment (you know what the NHS is like!).

If you would like to buy raffle tickets to support the unit please let me know. They are a pound a strip and prizes such as hampers and a stereo are in the draw.

6 month update

Can’t believe we have reached the ½ year mark already!

Isabella loves solids and eats everything we give her. She still loves playing in her bouncer chair, kicking around in her hanging bouncer and trying to put absolutely everything in her mouth. She loves to cover up her face when she is tired and we quite often find her with the sheet over her head!

Liberty doesn’t seem to like much food so we are taking weaning slowly. She still loves being on her feet and can even stand holding on to the sofa for a while which at 6 months is amazing. She is also trying to move when you put her on her front so I think she will be mobile very soon, think it might be time to make the place a bit more baby friendly! Liberty has gone off her dummy a bit now and loves to suck her thumb. We can hear her in the night sucking away at her thumb.

Both girls love to chatter and shout so it has become a lovely noisy house. Think they might end up being actresses or singers, you never know you might see The Wilson Twins on the X Factor!!!

Thank you Ciaran

Thank you to Ciaran (and his mummy Anna) for lending the girls his hop n pop for a week. The girls absolutely loved it especially Isabella who could bounce and set off the music and the lights!

This prompted us to take a trip to Toys r us and do some Christmas shopping. Father Christmas has visited the girls early and they are now proud owners of their Baby Einstein activity centre.
