8 Month Update

The girls are now 8 months old and as usual the past month passed like a whirlwind! There has been so much going on with Christmas parties, Christmas celebrations with the family and new adventures for the new year.

Isabella still has just the 2 teeth but we think some more are definately on the way She is loving sitting up and being able to grab toys. She is also very good on her feet now and loves to stamp around in her play centre.

Liberty still loves being on her feet the best, she is getting better at trying to sit up and we don't think it will be long before they are sitting up together! Liberty is deperate to move around so we don't think it will be long till she figures out how to move around more.

Swimming Lessons

Liberty and Isabella have been signed up for swimming lessons! I have found a lovely pool with a creche which means I can take one baby swimming one week and put one in the creche and then change the following week.

Liberty was first to have a lesson and she really enjoyed it. She did look very serious throughout the lesson though and had a good nose around at everything going on around her (I wonder who she takes after!) . She kicked her legs to the the nusery rhymes and was ok when she was ducked right under. Isabella was a really good girl in the creche and really liked the lovely lady who looked after her. Next week will be her turn for a duck and and splash.

Isabella and Liberty were weighed yesterday and are a very healthy 19 lb 6 and 16 lb 4 respectively. Last night we were back to a full nights sleep after being woken by the girls for the past 10 days at 4am!!

The Wilsons

Here are some pics of Christmas and New Years Day with the Wilsons. The girls had a great time with their Uncle Martin who is over from Amsterdam for the holidays.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all!

2006 was a fantastic year with new experiences, new friends, and new beginnings. Thank you for following the girls blog, I have really enjoyed my 'time out' posting news and pictures of our family life and have had lots of lovely comments from friends and family on how much they look forward to catching up on the girls progress.

2006 was a great year for friendship. We are lucky to have lots of wonderful friends, we've met up with friends we have not seen for a while and have made lots of new friends thanks to the arrival of Isabella and Liberty. Thank you to all the mummies who have given me advice, ideas and great company over the past 8 months.

We are looking forward to lots more 'firsts' over the coming months and we hope that 2007 will be as happy for us as 2006 has been. We wish health and happiness to each and everyone of you.

Nicola, Dan, Isabella and Liberty xxxx
