9 Month Update

Liberty and Isabella are really interacting well with each other now. They chat away in their baby talk, copy each others noises and laugh at each other all the time. I can now sit them together on the floor and they will play happily together with the odd snatching of each others toys. They are learning new things everyday and love to copy us, they are trying to say Dadda and Mumma now too!

Liberty is rolling all over the place to get to the toys she wants and I often find her playing on her front in her cot.

Isabella now has 4 teeth which she finds strange especially when she can make noises crunching them together. Isabella loves music and does a little dance in her walker when music is on.

The girls are so interested in food and we have introduced lots of new tastes in the past month. Liberty will feed herself now with her bottle and Isabella has done well the past few days with doing hers herself. They both love finger foods especially sandwiches or pieces of toast.

The First Sleepover!

Liberty and Isabella had their first sleepover at Grandma and Grandad Daymans! This also meant the first sleep-in for Mummy and Daddy for nearly 9 months (could get used to this)!!!!!

Grandma and Grandad said the girls were very good, Liberty had a few chats and giggles to herself throughout the night but the girls didn't get up till 7am. I expect Grandma and Grandad are tucked into bed nice and early tonight though! Thank you for our night off!

Thanks also to Grandma Wilson who looked after the girls Saturday afternoon whilst Dan and I went shopping. Our extension has started so we are hunting for appliances, fixtures and fittings for what will be our new kitchen diner, utility room and cloakroom!

We are fast heading toward the 9 month milestone! In a couple of weeks time the girls will be having their development check-up which usually takes place between months 8 and 10.

We are still keeping very busy with lots of activities to do. At home the girls love to sit in their activity centres chatting to each other and playing their new game of throw the toys on the floor and watch mummy pick them up! The girls love the television (!!) especially the Tumble Tots DVD that their friend Annabelle gave them for Christmas. It is also Mummy and Daddy's favourite as it keeps the girls occupied for ages. The only thing is the songs stick in your head and Dan and I end up going round singing 'Can you carry a bean bag on your head'!

Here are the girls glued to the TV (naughty mummy!)

Liberty hair is really growing and she is now a proper little girl wearing a hair clip! She is sitting up quite well now with the odd wobble. She does wriggle around a lot so won't stay in one position very long.

Isabella's top teeth are on the way, her gum has broken today so it won't be long before a tooth is peeking through. She is doing really well with finger foods now and loves to munch on a piece of toast for breakfast. Here she is calling Daddy up on her new telephone.

On Sunday Liberty and Isabella went to Madeline's 2nd Birthday party . The girls had great fun trying out the bouncy castle and going down the slide. The girls had lots of cuddles with Auntie Carole and Uncle Ian.
