SAHM

I have now made the final decision and handed my notice in at work, so from 30th March I will officially be a stay at home mum!

We decided this would be best for us as a family for the time being. I feel lucky that I can stay at home, the early days go so fast with so many precious moments I want to be here to enjoy all the little milestones like the first words and first steps.

10 Month Update

Its been another fun month with lots of exciting things going on. The girls are really wanted to do things for themselves now and are really showing their likes and dislikes!

Isabella is getting very good on her feet she is not to happy sitting now. When she is happy to sit she will play so well on her own chatting away to herself. She loves music and singing and will bounce away to music. Isabella also loves the company of others she is very sociable.

Liberty still seems to be going through a bit of seperation anxiety. She does not like mummy out of her sight! She is a real wriggler and is still getting frustrated that she can't yet crawl. Liberty also loves her feet and stands on her toes like a ballerina.

A lot has gone on this last month with parties and celebrations. Also a new friend has arrived, our great friends Faye and Chris had a little girl on the 11th March.

This next month will see us moving into Mum and Dads for a while. The extension is coming along well, once the work inside starts we will be evacuated to Mums! (they will probably go away to get away from all of us he he!)

Sunday 11th March - The Baptism

On Sunday Isabella and Liberty were baptised into Christian faith in a lovely service conducted by our very good friend Rev Bill Mullenger. The girls were as good as gold throughout the ceremony Liberty was even trying to climb into the font for a second dunk in the holy water!

The Christening took place in St Giles Church, Farnborough Village.

Our thanks to the Godparents for promising to look after and guide the girls through life, we will be sending them round to you when they reach the terrible teens! Thanks also to Mum and Dad for letting us take over their house for post service refreshments!

Below are some pictures from the day:

Marching on

Things have been quite busy over the past few weeks with the extension well underway and the usual weekly events.
We have all bit poorly which started of with a throat virus for me then went onto the girls having dreadful colds, fever and coughs and then back to me again! We all seem to be on the mend now.

Liberty now has two teeth so she is starting to catch up with Isabella although she has some catching up to do as Isabella has her 6th on the way!

Last weekend the girls had their first sleepover with their cousins! Isabella slept in Matthews room and Liberty in Roberts. They were very good and I think everyone enjoyed this new adventure (I expect Uncle Steven and Auntie Lisa were in bed early the next night though!).

I promise to publish some up to date photos soon. I must admit I haven't taken as many lately so I must get back to it!
