One-derful!

We are one! We have had a great year and kept Mummy and Daddy very busy!

Mummy and Daddy held little party for us and some of our friends on Saturday to celebrate, luckily the weather held out and we were able to get out into the garden to play for some of it. We had a fairy cake and lots of yummy party food!

Isabella - I loved my party as lots of people walked me round and round all day, I didn't get tired (although they all did!) and stayed up late till gone 8 o'clock.

Liberty - I get a bit scared when there are lots of people about so I cried a bit at my party but I did enjoy my cake!

Yesterday for our actual birthday we went to Gambados with our twin friends Lydia and Marcus, we had fun playing in the ball pool. In the afternoon we surprised our cousins by picking them up from school, then they came back for a birthday tea.

Thank you for all our lovely presents and money, we have lots of lovely new toys to play with and clothes to wear.

Mummy update

It seems like only yesterday that the girls were the tiny babies in the pictures above. It has been an amazing year, for me the most rewarding thing I have achieved. Its been tiring at times but the gurgles, smiles and new adventures have made us smile through tired eyes..
To be continued......

Home!

We are home! After 8 weeks of being spoilt at Mum and Dads we have returned back to our house. Building work is still not quite complete but we needed to get settled back into home. Thank you to Mum and Dad for your kindness, help and putting up with us for so long. We hope you enjoy some peace and quiet and no disturbed nights!

Isabella is really trying to move around more as she is getting more frustrated seeing Liberty moving about. She is still happiest walking around clinging onto my fingers or anyone elses she can grab! At Grandma and Grandads she could race around in her walker which she loved, as we are still not straight at home there is not a lot of room to move around so she is getting a bit annoyed! Isabella has learnt to say hello, it sounds a bit more like hiya but this is her first word after the usual Mumma and Dadda.

Liberty is crawling everywhere, I have to hunt for her sometimes as she moves so fast. She is also now an expert at pulling herself up to standing although she is not very confident at trying to sit back down. The standing up has all become fun for Liberty, especially now she is back in her own cot. She likes to stand up and throw her comfort blanket into Isabella's cot, the pair of them think it is highly amusing, and I must be burning calories galore running up to their room to lie Liberty back down! Liberty walked around pushing a ride along toy yesterday for the first time, one minute she was crawling around, next minute she was cruising around twins group with the toy!
