Christmas

Our first family Christmas with the girls has been fantastic, we have had a great time with all the family. A big big thank you to all family and friends for your gifts, the girls were thoroughly spoilt! Thank you to Matthew and Robert who helped with opening Isabella and Liberty's presents!

Isabella has been sitting up since Christmas Day and is very proud of her achievement (as are we!). The girls had their first taste of turkey which they seemed to enjoy.

Liberty loves the Christmas tree and is happy to be able to grab the branches, see below Libsy being caught out!

7 Month Update

Another month has flown by and we are fast approaching the girls 1st Christmas! This month has been busy especially the last few weeks with the girls having parties to go to!! The twins group Christmas party saw their first encounter with Santa which they slept through!

Liberty is now loving food and eats really well. Her sickness has really eased up and she is starting to fill out. Liberty still loves being on her feet and loves to bounce around in her play centre and she also loves to roll around. Her dark hair is really growing, she is still very much mini-Dad!

Isabella has turned into the real chatterbox, she chats away when we put her in her cot at night and loves to chat for ages when she wakes up in the morning. Isabella can sit up on her own for a few minutes before falling to the side or backwards (then laughs!). She has also found her feet and loves to stand up.

Barney's Christmas party

On Friday the girls went to their first Christmas party! The event was held at Barney's house for his little friends that have arrived this year. Barney looked the part dressed as Santa, the girls looked like his little helpers dressed as fairies. You should all receive pics in your Christmas cards but here they are for a sneak preview!

Isabella's first tooth!

Isabella has cut her first tooth! This was discovered by my twin mummy friend Nicola this morning! This explains all the dribble and unrest these past few weeks. Will post a pic soon!

**UPDATE** Its actually teeth not tooth! Have spotted another one coming through so she will have her two bottom teeth!

Hospital check up

Liberty and Isabella had their check-up at Hospital last week. I am pleased to report all is well and the Registrar was very pleased with the girls development and growth. A lot of people have commented on Isabella's noisy breathing, this has been diagnosed as Laryngomalacia, or floppy larynx syndrome, we are told this will improve itself by the time she is around a year old and is nothing to worry about.

Liberty has been prescribed Gaviscon to put in her milk to help prevent her being sick after every feed.

Isabella is not far off sitting up on her own, she sits for a while but then she topples to one side or forward. She now likes standing and gives us a big gummy smile and sticks her bottom out!

Liberty has started copying us, her latest new trick it to blow raspberries (I teach her useful things!!). She sits there for ages practicing, even with a mouthful of food which she finds even funnier!
